Warning to save an edited variable data file

A warning message may be issued when a variable data file has been edited but not saved prior to a WinCross selection that includes the processing of data (running tables, frequencies, marginals, editing logic, etc.).

This warning will prompt you to make a selection to either Save the data or Cancel. You must save the data to proceed with the current selection. Choosing Save will replace the currently open data file with the changes made.

If you prefer to save the data file using a new file name, choose Cancel and then File|Save|Save Data As to save the changes made to a new data file.
