Dashboards

Dashboards is the final step of creating crosstabs/charts and building a dashboard and lets you create, edit, rename, run and delete dashboards as well as link and unlink datasets.

Filter to associated dataset

  • Choose the dataset for use with Dashboards from the dropdown list. To show all dashboards owned by or shared to the current user, choose None (show all dashboards) as your filter.
  • There must be at least one associated dataset to run or edit dashboards.
  • If there is only one dataset associated with the selected dashboard, that dataset will be automatically selected for you if you choose Run Dashboard or Edit Dashboard.

Dashboards

The Dashboards list provides the Name and Owner for each Dashboard owned by or shared to the current user.

  • Enable the Dashboards list check box for a single dashboard or click anywhere on a dashboard in the Dashboards list to highlight a single dashboard to display Dashboard Information or make changes to the selected/highlighted dashboard.
  • Only one dashboard can be highlighted at a time and the Dashboard Information panel displays information about the highlighted dashboard.
  • If you enable the check box for more than one dashboard in the Dashboards list, the Dashboard Information for the highlighted dashboard will display whether its check box is enabled or not. If no Dashboard Information is displayed, a dashboard in the Dashboards list has not been highlighted.
  • A dashboard becomes highlighted when either the check box for a single dashboard is checked or you click anywhere on a single dashboard in the Dashboards list.
