Generate Random Values
The
Data
tab lets you generate random values for selected cells, records or variables:
- Highlight the data values for a given
variable or the entire column for a selected variable.
- Right-click anywhere on the Data
tab.
- Choose Generate
random values from the right-click context menu.
- Enter the Minimum
value, the Maximum value
and the number of Decimals
for the random values.
- Random values can be generated for
variables formatted as Type
(see Variables
tab (Data Grid)) number or string.
- Both negative and positive numbers
can be used as random values.
