Variable View Width for variable data files

You can specify the number of characters used for viewing data in the View Width column on the Variables tab of the data grid. The View Width can also be changed by moving the column border for a variable on the Data tab of the data grid. The number of characters in the View Width column on the Variables tab is automatically adjusted.

The View Width only affects the display of the data on the Data tab of the data grid.

Proportional fonts are based on the average width for a column. A different number of characters may be displayed in the specified width depending on the characters used for that data value.
