Edit Report

Edit Report allows you to build your report by adding or removing selected crosstabs. You can also rename a report, update the report description, title, subtitle and footer. Run filter logic can be added to a report or existing Run filter logic can be modified.

 

If there is only one dataset associated with the selected report, that dataset will be automatically selected for you when you choose Edit Report.

 

Crosstabs

  • Choose the crosstabs tab for your report from the list of available crosstabs by enabling the check box next to one or more crosstabs.
  • To add one or more crosstabs to the current report, use the right-facing arrow to move one or more crosstabs to the Iterms in this report list.
  • To remove a crosstab from the current report, use the left-facing arrow to move one or more crosstabs back to the available crosstabs list.
  • Crosstabs can be repositioned in the Items in this report list by using the Move Up and Move Down options.
  • If only one crosstab is selected from the available crosstabs list, Crosstab information will display information for that crosstab.
  • If more than one crosstab is selected from the available crosstabs list, Crosstab information will display information for the first crosstab selected.
  • A crosstab from the available crosstabs list can be added to the Items in this report list more than once.

 

Charts

  • Choose the charts tab for your report from the list of available charts by enabling the check box next to one or more charts.
  • To add one or more charts to the current report, use the right-facing arrow to move one or more charts to the Items in this report list.
  • To remove a crosstab from the current report, use the left-facing arrow to move one or more charts back to the charts list.
  • Crosstabs can be repositioned in the Items in this report list by using the Move Up and Move Down options.
  • If only one chart is selected from the available charts list, chart information will display information for that chart.
  • If more than one chart is selected from the available charts list, Chart information will display information for the first chart selected.
  • A chart from the available charts list can be added to the Items in this report list more than once.

 

Items in this report

  • Displays the crosstabs/charts added to each report

  • Selecting a crosstab/chart allows you to adjust the alignment and theme

 

Report information

  • The report information allows for global changes across ALL items in this report..

  • Title/Footer adds a title, subtitle, or footer to the report.

  • Base filter applies a filter to the entire report that is not visible to the suer

  • User filters are dynamic filters the viewer can adjust after running the report.

  • Report themes allows you to change the theme of all items.

  • Background Options allows you to change the background color of all items.

  • Border Options allows you to change the border of all items.

 

Crosstab information

Crosstab information displays the crosstab name, description, and owner.

 

Chart Information

Chart information displays the chart name, description, and owner.

 

Rename

  • Select Rename to assign a new name to the current report.
  • Enter a new Name.
  • Choose Save.

 

Description

  • Select Description to add or update the description for the current report.
  • Enter a Description or update the existing Description.
  • Choose Save.

 

Run Report

Choose Run Report to process the Crosstabs selected for this report.

Choose Back to Reports to return to Reports.
