Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP with WinCross

There is a known Microsoft issue with WinCross when used in a network with a Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP workstations.  WinCross will run slow due to an issue in file sharing and security between these two operating systems and is documented in Microsoft Technet Articles 321098 and 321169.
